   That is more or less the point. We can only base ideas on what we
know about what exists. It would stupid to order your life around what
you *don't* know about what *might* exist.

   We can't. So it's meaningless to try.

   Nobody has yet mastered the art of being skeptical about
everything, all the time. Many famous scientists have believed in
spiritualism and suchlike, often because they wanted to.
