President George W. Bush today announced the designation of a Presidential
Delegation to Mal‚, Maldives to attend the Inauguration of His Excellency
Mohamed Nasheed, President-Elect of the Republic of Maldives on November
11, 2008.

The Honorable Robert O. Blake, Jr., United States Ambassador to the
Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Republic of Maldives,
will represent the President.
