subject: Netscape For Os/2 Exists

The beta has ended, and Netscape for OS/2 has been released. Many of
the bugs in beta 2 are no longer present, although there are a couple of
(mainly cosmetic) problems. Such as the fact that the "View|Document
Source" menu option isn't greyed out, even though attempting to use it
before the document has fully loaded will be ignored (a cosmetic bug at
  best, as I said).
More importantly, Netscape now supports the one thing that previously
made Web Explorer essential to me : the ability to drag and drop URLs
to the Workplace Shell desktop, and to arrange them in folders and
subfolders. This can be a *lot* more powerful and flexible than
bookmarks (which are now fully implemented, to be fair). For example,
archiving desktop URLs is a simple matter of dragging and dropping them
  onto a floppy.
Interestingly, some native OS/2 plug-ins for Netscape already exist.
The Adobe Acrobat reader for OS/2 (which is still in beta) automatically
installs itself as a Netscape OS/2 plug-in (and seems to work pretty
  well, too).
