That must be the rationale of those who oppose harvesting stem cells from
surplus fertility clinic embryos.

While I disagree with them, I do understand the feelings of those who don't
want embryos created for the express purpose of stem cell production.

I see absolutely no sense in wasting embryonic stem cells that were created
for other purposes and only going to be flushed down a drain somewhere.
