From: Gary Britt The only person saying something racist was Borat. I would say its more like its ok to go along with a script for a comedy film that needs a racist for the comedy sketch if one is going to get on TV. They are just actors, in effect, acting the part given them for the comedy sketch. It isn't real life. Also, you have no idea how many gun shops they went to, before they got a guy who stood there silently thinking what an asshole this Borat is, but I'll sell him a gun if its legal for him to buy it. With the cameras and everything no shop owner is going to think Borat was serious. They know its a joke, and they play along with the joke.
