Whenever I've looked at adding a new storage format to D'Bridge I'm presented 
with the following challenges:

- Tossing and scanning and it must be spot-on perfect especially kludges.
- Message creation and editing from the internal editor
- Copying, forwarding, moving messages from the editor
- Purging old messages either by quantity or date

Not impossible but does require a fair amount of programming and testing. 
Everything has to be perfect otherwise the Fidonet Police write me a fine.

I cannot use any libraries, units or API's, everything must be from scratch.
