The switch doesn't have that degree of flexibility, unfortunately. Just 
a little 8-port Netgear. The good news, though, is that the DOS 
diagnostics showed the card had been hard-set for 10MB half-duplex. 
Switching to 100MB half-duplex cleared things up.
