DAILY REPORT # 3328

PERIOD COVERED: DOY 85

Part 2 of 2

STIS 9615

Cycle 11 MAMA Dark Monitor

This test performs the routine monitoring of the MAMA detector dark
noise. This proposal will provide the primary means of checking on
health of the MAMA detectors systems through frequent monitoring of
the background count rate. The purpose is to look for evidence of
change in dark indicative of detector problem developing.

ACS 9673

CCD Daily Monitor

This program consists of basic tests to monitor, the read noise, the
development of hot pixels and test for any source of noise in ACS CCD
detectors. This programme will be executed once a day for the entire
lifetime of ACS

WFPC2 9676

POMS Test Proposal: WFII parallel archive proposal

This is the generic target version of the WFPC2 Archival Pure
Parallel program. The program will be used to take parallel images of
random areas of the sky, following the recommendations of the 2002
Parallels Working Group.

WFPC2 9699

POMS Test Proposal: WFII backup parallel archive proposal

STIS 9706

STIS Pure Parallel Imaging Program: Cycle 10

Significant Spacecraft Anomalies: (The following are preliminary
reports of potential non-nominal performance that will be
investigated.)

HSTAR 8976: GS Acquisition (3,1,3) {at} 086/00:32:14Z resulted in FL
             backup on FGS 1 only due to SSLE on FGS 3 {at}
             086/00:37:17Z. Under investigation.

COMPLETED OPS REQs:
16920-0 Set CCC K51 to Level 4 {at}085/1844z

OPS NOTES EXECUTED:
1093-1 Limit Adjustment for CCC K51 to Level 4 Charge {at} 085/1848z

                   SCHEDULED SUCCESSFUL FAILURE TIMES
FGS GSacq 11 11
FGS REacq 8 8
FHST Update 18 18
LOSS of LOCK

SIGNIFICANT EVENTS:

Successfully completed real-time commanding to adjust CCC K51 from
Level 5 to Level 4 {at} 085/18:44Z (OR 16920). This change was made to
help maximize overall power efficiency by reducing the decline in the
system SOC. Analysis of load share and power dissipation indicated
Battery 5 could tolerate more charge energy. Following this
adjustment, EPS SEs verified the system reached Trickle Charge the
following orbit and system performance was nominal. EPS SEs continue
to monitor the system SOC and overall health.

CCS 4.0.2 "C" String Ops/SM Account Verification and Exception test
scheduled 086/12:00Z - 21:00Z with VDOC, GDOC, SOC, HITT, and CCS
using CCS "C" String with CCS Release 4.0.2 and PRD S07102. The
purpose of this testing is to verify CCS can successfully transition
between Ops, SM, and GSTDN modes while transmitting commands and
ingesting various telemetry formats and to verity the Ground System
responds correctly to bad telemetry and erroneous command entries
using CCS Release 4.0.2 on the "C" String.
