An extermely slow link I would imagine. A few of the larger ISPs do, but
its usually not very fast. Basically they just use a normal overseas
telephone line 24hours/day, whereas AARNET has there own cable laid across
the Pacific.
It runs at about 6Mbps (if I recall correctly..).

 A 64000bps ISDN connection. Basically twice the speed of a 28.8k modem.
