My guess is that that DIZ doesn't conform to "the standard" (up to 10 lines of
no more than 45 chars). Synchronet currently only supports extended description
of up to 512 total characters (regardless of the number of lines) - that's
likely the limitation you're running into. This'll be addressed at the same
time as long filenames.
