I tried to adjust to mono/contacts for 2 months before giving up. I had frequent bouts of double/split vision, particularly in dim light and low contrast situations (and, worst of all, after just a couple of beers. Every now and then, too, my depth perception went awry, not good when driving. It would have been a disaster if I'd done that permanently via surgery. During that time, I read that women adjusted to mono vision much more readily than men. Can't decide if it's brain wiring or vanity, though . --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
