No onboard nic? IIRC there is OS/2 support for many realtek chipsets
which are basically generic such as the 8139 (some have successfully even
used the old NE2000 based drivers on these). As mentioned in another post
I know 10x support is considerable, 100x support is spotty and gigabit is
rare and wireless is relatively non-existant (unless some kind soul has
finally ported madwifi from linux). So what sort of usage becomes
important to your choices. For example if you just need to connect to a
cable modem or DSL modem 10x is just fine so your choices are many.
Intranet usage is a whole other animal as it would be well worth
considerable research to discover what high speed nics are supported.
However my view might be outdated since I don't have eCS which likely
includes support for chipsets that I don't know about
Good luck
Jimmy
