No.  The West Germans were incredibly grateful to the Allies - and
especially the Americans - for saving them from the Red Army.  Welcome
friends. Something similar in South Korea, at least as far as the political
leaders of the time were concerned.

But neither local political force was at the time threatened internally.
That's the problem in Iraq, and it's the same in the north.

Yup, of course there will.  But it won't be 104 acres with a working
population of 5,000 plus.  It will be the same size as the Iraqi embassy in
Washington, give or take a square metre or two.
