What's the meaning/significance of these numbers?



When my NetComm M34F connects to any modem with LAP-M/V.42bis I get the same

numbers.  However, when I connect to another NetComm M34F with LAP-M/V.42bis

I get...



Compression   : V.42bis 8192 250 tx/rx



Can you (or anybody else) tell me what the difference is, and why?
