The conspiracy theories that you're talking about never happened. But,
well, now that you mention WMDs, yup I've found some. It seems that Surf
City, NJ wanted to widen their beach, so they stuck some big old suction
hoses into the seabed about 100 yards off shore. They sucked in lots of
sand ... and ... lots of WWI ordnance...

They "think" they've found them all, but their solution just to
be safe, is to post signs telling parents not to let their kids dig holes
in the sand deeper than 12" Yes, this is true, though my wording of
the signs is likely not exact. No worries though, congress just earmarked
$4M to clean the sand a bit deeper 

But seriously, on the WMD thing, I don't give a shit if they found them,
except for worrying about who has them now, as that was but one of numerous
reasons for taking Saddam out.
