How about the Iraqi's own hatred for Saddam?  In case you missed it, they
put him on the end of a short rope and the majority cheered.  This just
doesn't match with your "enlightened" Iraq under Saddam.  How in
the hell do you think he kept the peace?  By his great love for the Iraqi
people and charm?  By allowing women the right to vote and divorce?
