They sure are...
Cloyce,  do you have something that's already set up?  If so,  they are 
probably set up to use what we called "U-1" (for utility case size 1) gels, 
which are about the same size as your typical lawn&garden battery,  about 5x7 
or so.
If you're trying to put something together,  there are options.  I'd offer 
some of what I have here,  but shipping alone would be a bit of a bear,  and 
these aren't new so I don't know how well they'd do you.  Couple of different 
configurations here,  we could kick this around a bit if you're into it.  The 
units I have are 33 AH,  typical rating also for the U-1's.
