JS>VH>Good choice. It would have taken care of DeGaulle AND what's-his-face,
JS>VH>the detective with the same shot -- one with a squash head round, the
JS>VH>other with the backblast.
JS>Oh. I just meant using the BB on DeGaulle. Sneaking a 106 in that close
JS>would be a little tricky though I guess. :-)
Well, the .50 spotting rifle would probably have taken care of DeGaulle
-- but the back blast would do nicely for the detective, while a squash
head main round would create enough confusion for the Jackal to make his
escape.
And there should be no problem in getting a 106 in there -- there were
so many other unbelievable things in the book that one more wouldn't
matter. :-)
JS>VH>I shot a bunch of them in Singapore (they use it, too) and I have a
JS>VH>training version, with the 9mm rifle inside.
JS>AR-15? I shot one a few years ago, printed about an inch group at 25
JS>yards, nothing to crow about, but I swear, there were these two
JS>'military' type who rented it just after me (factory shoot), and we are
JS>talking 3-4" groups at 10 yards.
JS>I was just happy I remembered how to work the thing...
I was talking about the AT-4, which is our new LAW. The training
version has a falling block 9mm barrel inside it, which I intend to do
something with, one of these days.
