subject: TERM

Hi Diane,
DB´I am sewing and a professional seamstress and I can't figure out a term
´unsed on the pattern. It says to do a *French Tuck*.. Does anyone know
´that that is supposed to be??? I know this is a craft bbs but maybe
´someone might still know what it is. Thanks for all the help...until
  ´later..
I've never heard of the term "French Tuck" before however I've heard of
and used what's called a French Seam. That's where you seam with the
wrong sides together first and then seam again with the right sides
together so that the raw edges are tucked inside. It makes a nice seam
for shear garments, sewn undergarments, and longerie.
Probably not what you were looking for but that's all I could
think of,
Becky
