I don't use RSJ. I use cdrecord and its bethren. That said, I have used
several different kinds of DVD-+RWs. All
are also CD-RWs. I have not had any problems with any of them. Most of
been whatever was cheapest when I
bought it.

I have had several, because I had two OS2 machines and had two windows
machines. I have written dozens of
DVDs using dvddao.exe, and dozens of CD-Rs using cdrecord. I use zip to
create backups, and then copy them to
DVDs or CDs.

I support a "baby" mainframe (an IBM server running FLEX-ES
software to emulate IBM 390), and also use
CDs/DVDs to back that up.

I have had a few coasters (usually attempting to use RSJ), but most have
been successful, and I have used those
backups to restore so I know they work.
