when i was doing that on my old RA/FD/FE setup, i used GIGO which created PKTs
for FE to import... my GIGO had its own FTN address for the purpose...

these days, though, i'm running sbbs which has that ability builtin... the
messages are posted to a message area... if that area is QWK networked, they go
out that way... if it is FTN'd, they go that way... they can even be
accessed via NNTP if configured for such ;)
