While I'm far from a "power" user, *I* use WordPerfect 6.1 under
Windows 95, and haven't had any problems at all (other than not knowing
the proper commands or syntax occasionally! ). I used the POUPD.EXE
patch on it, and also the Corel patch, BTW, neither of which have given
me any problems. I first ran it on a 486DX-33 VLB system with 8 meg
RAM, and now run it on a Pentium-133 system with 16 meg EDO RAM. The
ONLY problems I've had (if you want to call it a problem) is that the
WP printer drivers sometimes crap out on me, and I have to resort to
the Windows drivers. Speed of printing *used* to be of concern
previously, but I really don't see a great deal of difference between
WP drivers and Windows drivers on my present system. FWIW, there's MY
two cents worth!
Cheers,
Phil
