G'day Jason!

Should have been in the Blue Wave echo (BLUEWAVE) but since you're already

here...

JS> I have developed a problem with the Blue Wave offline mail reader. It

Blue Wave sends this error message when it can't find the appropriate

archiver to open/close a mail packet - ie the archiver command line is not

(properly) defined.

JS> I haven't changed anything between sessions at all that is the thing

You *must* have changed something if it was working OK before!

JS> I have checked the docs that I got with it but they don't have

JS> anything about error messages that might appear with it.

It *is* mentioned in Blue Wave's Online Help - next time you get an error,

press while the error box is still on the screen.

Below are the archiver command lines I use for Blue Wave...

ZIP Compression E:\ARC\ZIP\pkzip.exe -a -ex -q {at}F {at}I

ZIP Decompression E:\ARC\ZIP\pkunzip.exe -en -q {at}F {at}I

ARJ Compression E:\ARC\ARJ\arj.exe a -e -+ {at}F {at}I

ARJ Decompression E:\ARC\ARJ\arj.exe e -e {at}F {at}I

LHA Compression E:\ARC\LHA\lha.exe a /m /n2 {at}F {at}I

LHA Decompression E:\ARC\LHA\lha.exe e /m /n2 {at}F {at}I

PAK Compression E:\ARC\PAK\pak.exe a {at}F {at}I

PAK Decompression E:\ARC\PAK\pak.exe e {at}F {at}I

ARC Compression E:\ARC\PKPAK\pkpak.exe -a {at}F {at}I

ARC Decompression E:\ARC\PKPAK\pkunpak.exe -e {at}F {at}I

Note: I specify the full path/name because my archivers are not in the PATH.

Also, if you hit at the "Archivers" menu during Setup,
you can view

sample command lines for each of the archivers.
