I noticed that unknownrealm.org has PHPbb (I think) updating from a Sync 
BBS. That intrigued me, but I don't know how it handles things like user 
accounts - would you have to create a separate account on each side?

That's one nice thing about Sync is having a single sign on for NNTP, WWW, 
HTTP or the BBS. I'd hate to lose that on the web side.
