I noticed an old BBS I used to subscribe to, Big12 MetroBBS or Metropolis
now, still shows Pay on their board when I login. 12 years ago this board
was hoppin' and most of my friends had an active, pay account to get
online. IIRC they are WG too, but most of their revenue is from web
hosting. The BBS probably just stays running for nostalgia. Sean, the
Texas board you're referring to might be Metro, though they were based in
Kansas they had many dial-up numbers in Texas (where I'm at).
