GE>When a merchant says a product is "free", that means you do not have to
  >pay anything for it at the time of purchase. Any cellular phone ad
  >you're likely to ever includes a fine print disclaimer that spells out
  >the terms and conditions required to get a cellular phone without having
  >to specifically pay for it.
Many cellular dealers, e.g. Lets Talk are now having the customer
sign a form indicating that he agrees to have the cost of the phone
charged to his account if he doesn't carry his contract to term or if
the phone is lost. Doesn't sound free to me. More candid....; but not
free.
GE>Why can't you just accept the fact that if you have bad credit, you
  >simply can't get things that people with good credit can, and let it go
  >at that?
When you go to the library to look up the word Free, why don't you
also look up "libel". It's a shame that you can't argue (albeit the
losing side) without libeling me.
