I don't think that had much to do with HotdogEd. My password (I thought it
meant binkp password) was more than 8 characters so it messed something up in
the header which caused sbbsecho to think it was a type 2 packet. Once I
changed the password I was able to use type 2+ once again as sbbsecho saw it as
that.
