Hi Scott. On Wednesday January 17 1996, Scott Little wrote to All ... SL> Anyone used a Dynalink modem before? Oh yes ... Nothing but trouble. Dynalinks don't recognise the dial tone on the PSTN (meaning that a blind dial is necessary as a work-around). Furthermore, the one I have has a major flow control problem (it does not like sending files; resends over and over). Not only that, but the speaker is FUBAR, so I can't hear a thing. Despite all these negative elements, some people will swear by Dynalinks. If you would like to borrow mine for a while, feel free, but unless your stress tolerance level is high, I wouldn't recommend that course of action. :-) Johnno --- FMail/386 1.02* Origin: Lateline BBS, Sydney; +61-2-579-6564; 24 hours; V.FC (3:712/841) SEEN-BY: 50/99 620/243 623/630 624/300 711/401 409 410 413 430 510 808 809 SEEN-BY: 711/899 930 932 934 712/64 311 405 407 411 455 505 506 510 515 517 SEEN-BY: 712/535 617 624 628 704 718 813 816 817 820 824 826 841 844 713/888 SEEN-BY: 714/906 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 712/841 816 517 515 711/808 809 934 |
