I guess it's safe to assume that the Canadian and Australian armies follow
the same protocol.  Dad claims Grandad didn't have any medals, but he would
have had one for driving jeeps in New Guinea, and a few that they gave all
Commonwealth troops to commemorate royal milestones.  My Canadian grandad
should have those too, as well as service medals for the Low Countries
campaign.
