That seems like a lot; we, (three adults) live in a six bedroom, turn of the 
century, uninsulated brick and stone house and curently use about 1100. This 
figure is not comparable to anything we might do in another house/location 
however. The living floor of this house is very dark, for example; it is 3:30 
PM, I have an overhead lamp burning in this room, if not, I would not be able 
to see the keyboard well enough to type.

My current guess is about 35,000 for power. This is subject to frequent 
change, however, as the information gets more precise.
