Neil J. Hoffman appears to be on RIME only. I just did a nodelist search and 
came up with lots of Hoffmans but no Neil. This is what I did: Called The 
File Bank (a RIME node with a number local to my area). After completing the 
registration, I found that they allowed message writing on the first log-on. 
Left a message to "Conference Host" in the FireArms echo. Three days later, 
had response from Neil J. Hoffman, saying thanks for my concern but there was 
nothing he could do about it. (sigh) Suggested I write to this other fella 
using RIMEnet's COMMON echo. So I did. Have not heard back from that person, 
but have not logged onto The File Bank since then.

From my end, it appears that the crosslink has stopped. Thank goodness. 
Whatever worked, and we're all glad to help because we were just as anxious 
for the messages to "go away!" (smile) I don't know how you'd contact them 
unless you have a local board that carries RIME.
PS Later: I see that Danny C has crossposted from the COMMON echo, that the 
feed has been cut until the board in question gets his act together. Sounds 
great to me!
