The seven in the original series were Avon, Blake, Cally, Gan, Jenna, Vila
and Orac.  I don't believe Zen was sentient, which is probably why he
wasn't counted.

The "seven" in Blakes 7 was retained for "continuity",
as was the "blake" after he disappeared after the intergalactic
war.

Perhaps it should have become "Avon's 6" for the fourth series -
Avon, Dayna, Soolin, Tarrant, Vila and Orac :-)
