Hi Paul!

PE> Sounds good. One last question (sorry!). You mentioned that to do a

PE> reverse search, all you had to do was export it to a large hard disk and

PE> reindex it. Are the files on the CDROM in an amenable form for me to write

PE> my own programs to run against them? Not just for reverse search, but

PE> also if I want to write an OS/2 program to read it instead of whatever

I was referring to the principle of banning reverse searches not the
specifics of this particular CD. Only the very expensive CD's from all the
the companies I'm aware of allow exporting of data. If you want to spend
around $1000 then you have no problem.

The people who produce Telerom (Read Only Memory) also produce a high end
product which sells for about $1000. It has the same data but you can
export.

The files on all of these CD's are compressed by unknown compression
algorithms and as such would be un-economical to reverse engineer.

Regards, Steve
