That sounds interesting, and we DO have Lechters here in the local mall
(actually, I like that place--they have all sorts of amusing gadgets!)
Whats the highest temp that kind of thermometer reaches? The one I have
now is a waterproof electronic medical thermometer. It only reads to
107.9F, then it goes blank. That's a pain when I get the food TOO hot,
because it has to be reset ever time it blanks out from overheating. By
the time I get it reset (by running under cold water) the food is
usually too cold again...
