JW> Do you happen to know if 'Solar Storms" was written by a Native
JW> American?
I believe the author is Native American, yes.
Tony Hillerman's books come close, he was brought up with
JW> Dineh as well as Anglos. Will Henry also comes close, although I do
JW> not entirely know his background. If you know of any published fiction
JW> by an Origional American, I would love to read it.
Have you read Louise Erdrich's books? She is Native American and has
written 4-5 books. 3 of them are a series (one is Bingo Palace, can't
rememeber he names of the others).
Meanwhile, I almost
JW> envy you. You have all of T. Hillerman's books to look forward to. I
JW> heartly recommend "Coyote Waits" "Thief of Time" and "Sacred Clowns."
JW> The only one of his I didn't like was "Finding Moon", which is the
JW> only one of his not set in the Four Corners area.
I have to get one of his. I don't even have one on my large TBR pile!
Finished reading "Naked Came he Manatee", by various Florida authors.
Hilarious!
... What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread???
