Thanks ever so much...... I was beginning to think my communication

I hope in my responce to Mr. Beams that I was able to make him
understand what I meant.
Yes, it is a federal law but just because the parents request testing
it isn't mandatory. If the teacher doesn't feel it necessary then a
panel must review the case. (This prevents students from having to go
through all these tests just at the parent's whim.) It is when the
teacher suggests testing that the school is responsible for the
testing.
I'm not trying to be confrontational with you or Mr. Beams and
normally I don't post in this conference (although I do lurk for
ideas all the time!). I posted on this topic only because I have had
personal experience with the topic being discussed.
