I dunno where Chris thinks that sexyz does not work better than zmodem, for telnet. That may be his experience. I won't argue with what experience he's had. I do know however in my experience, I have seen where it makes an remarkable difference in both Speed and errors. In fact on large files it is not even close! Not to mention Nancy, Old is nice when you are trying to defend it. Lord knows I have done that with Telegard and forgive me some of you fellas in here, Renegade too. But even yourself needed the wizard to create that file to help you with zmodem. I think you have seen where zmodem causes lots of troubles, which seems to have been alleviated by sexyz. IN fact I think the troubles with zmodem are some of the reasons why transfers, including qwk via telnet have died so much. Sexyz It's quirky to say the least. It's not perfect, but it works with transfers. NB> know... Some of us still use offline message readers and get message NB> packets and send reply packets in the mail doors, which also need the Again a problem with Age! If we could have them (Doors and bbs) updated they would be able to accept the use of other external prots and not just the ones internal to them ala in my case renewave and tgwave. BW is the same. You make good points, but zmodem is a problem. It affects me greatly. And you know it affects me and stops me from using software I like to use. ;-) Just a pennies worth from em also ;-) Have a good One! Mike ... User-supported tagline.
