So, basically we agree that "pair programming" isn't a good idea, right?

Besides, you never simply said that you were sick of it. Since we had to
share an office, I tried to be somewhat sensitive in what music I played (I
did play very little opera, for example). "Der Fuhrer's Face"
just seemed so right to play at that place after Mark & Chris took
over. Karma was served, though, since at Compaq the guy they hired after
I'd tried to get you in there was a dyed-in-the-wool square dancing kicker.
I'm sure I suffered as much with him as you did with Spike Jones.

As previously noted, based on the description, it sounds like some
obviously good practices mixed with some world-class bad ideas.
