The most of an undo I have really needed was in using it as a message editor.
A few too many ^Y keys pressed and all of that. ^U is a damned nice feature.
More editors should support it, IMO.

heh. So write one. => All considered, it's easier than most people think.
These days I am getting to like FTE for code editing. Most of what I
learned about editors came from Wordstar and Borland's Turbo/Borland Pascal which I used in
school before they moved to C++.
I -STILL- prefer the logical base of Pascal for an object model and really
liked Borland's Object Pascal and liked it
more once I took BP7 and Delphi Developer 1.02 and made it compile DOS apps.
Now I am looking at VP/2 for what coding I still do and I
still dislike C/C++ though I've learned to read the code and make basic hacks
 to it.
Before I got hooked on OS/2, I was hoping TSE would fill the gap with Delphi
allowing me to save the disk space by removing BP7 and just using TSE's
highlighting. The reason I paid more for TSE was that highlighting,
otherwise TSE/Jr was all I ever hoped for. You've complained a time or two
about the highlighting, so I needn't tell you all about it. =>
I wonder if FTE exists in a DOS EXE, I know some people who would like it.
Though I found it about like Boxer to configure it looks a
hell of a lot nicer than Boxer does and you can't beat the price.
Still, it's one more editor to learn.
