What does this possibility have to do with anything?  Even assuming
for the purpose of debate that marijuana should be controlled, the
possiblity that a person might do an unpermitted act with it does
not justify prohibiting it entirely.  The logic underlying your
statement would justify absolutely prohibiting any useful thing
(all prescription drugs, cars, weapons, gasoline) just because
someone might do something illegal with it.  Do you really want to
live in a country that treats all adult citizens as (except 
government employees) though they should be presumed to be
irresponsible and criminals?

I have no knowledge regarding the source of marijuana for the first
prescriptions that will be written for it.  Since it has been illegal
to grow it, I would guess that it will be illegally grown marijuana
like what is sold on the street -- just like what has been sold at
the medicinal marijuana buyers' clubs.
