You have a point, but it is not that simple, theres for example
20 Gal Highs, and 20 gal longs, refering to
a tank thats higher then long and so actually has less surface
(water/air), then a 20 gal Long thats less high and much longer.
Don't have a Gallon to liter formula handy,
but simply converting gallons to liters is useless
w/o indeed knowing tanks dimensions.
People talk of a 20 gal tank, even here we have to wonder
is it a high? a long? a what? ;-)
It can even be a octagon type.
