        Yes.
        Cordless telephones do very well.
        If you are a critical user, pick up a 900 Megahertz
        model.  If you care to fuss, try a lower-cost 46-49
        Megahertz model....
        Further, there is some FM-base "plug-into-an-AC-
        outlet" extension devices.  I have never tried
        them...
