The speed trap was probably Nashville. We HAVE now got round the clock 
traffic units that are very active in selective enforcement primarily on 
Interstate but activity on City streets is up too.
I grew up On Long Island, loved/worked rural and urban areas but have never 
seen such drivers as Nashville... There re a number of idiots here, 
compounded with court system that caters to drivers and gives 1st tick free 
of points and some people are on their 20th 1st ticket. Fines are absurdly 
low as a rule on muny tickets.seems I remember $25 or so.
Of course our murder rate to date this year is one every two days.
Of course no police officer could forget the USSC cases originating from 
Nashville PDto get an idea of demographics.  The South is a different animal 
as far as law enforcement, and can be very political
