There used to be a Borland program Object vison or View? that used the
Pdox engine. It would allow you to do exactly what you want. Setup a
windows front end to a DB kept in DOS.
Aside from that you might upgrade to Ver. 4.5 of DOS and Then keep to
only the field types that DOS support.
I'm not sure but if you check the field types that might work with ver 4
as well.
