I was under the impression that it was NOT edible. I thought
I had a handout on it, but all I can find is a handout from
the Turkey Creek Sanctuary listing it as a non-native nuisance
plant along with Brazilian Pepper, Castor Bean, and Malaleuca
tree.
I have another handout from Brevard County that lists the other
plants/trees as poisonous, but does not mention the air yam.
Also called potato vine and air potato, Dioscorea Bulbifera.
If I remember as I shoot by the Sanctuary, I'll see what they
have on the plant. You trying to turn it into a new beer?
