Most of the cast have appeared in other BBC productions, why, just last 
night Michael Keating (Villa) was a detective alongside Graham Garden of 
The Goodies fame in "Yes Minister".

Josette Simon (Dayna) was in a number of episodes of "Capital City" and 
Jan Chappell (Cally) played the lead role in "The Mens Room".

Gareth Thomas (Blake) and Trevor Peacey (Tarrant) were also in a number of 
the BBC's Shakespeare productions, Peacey was most notable as Harry 
Hotspur in Henry IV pt 1.

I don't recall them doing any other Science Fiction work though.
