I think it's more a flaw (if you will) in humans. The bedside manner, to
take a basic item, is a useful tool to promote healing: humans have their
psychology, and that will remain a constant regardless of how sophisticated
the machines get-- the interface will still be a human.
Here's a movie example-- remember Robocop meeting the children at a school?
How successful would that other project, X-whatever, have been in a
similar role?
