The temp of the CPU can get that high under intensive calculations. The
shutdown feature of MB Bioses is there to keep the CPU from frying. A
normal temp is more like 40°C
If your temperature climbs to well over say, 50°C on a regular basis,
then you need to investigate why. It could be as simple as poorly
applied heat sink compound or it the fan might not work very well.
