Bob, why do you keep using the word "justify?"  No one attempted
to "justify" anything by admitting that Germany has been
Christian for a thousand years, and that many of the people who
participated in the Holocaust considered themselves Christians.

What I AM doing is saying "Our hands are not clean."

The Pope has apologized for anti-semitism, and none of us can hide from the
fact that many Christians DID hate Jews, and that hatred was a key element
in the Holocaust.  Hitler himself was a Jew-hater long before he ever heard
of Madame Blavatsky and Theosophism.
