  When you check Options -> General -> External Alarm, Telemate will run the
batch file TMALARM.BAT whenever an alarm is generated. This batch file can
o
anything you want -- play a tune, run a screen saver, format your hard drive,
etc, etc. For awhile, I was using this:
@echo off
play c:\snd\trnscomp.wav
  It was a .WAV from Star Trek, "Transport Complete". I even got fancy and
had it play different alarms based on alarm type. The sample TMALARM.BAT
included with Telemate explains it fairly well.

Hope this helps!
